New Shipping Configuration Tool Available in Google Merchant Center

After adding Product Rating on Google Shopping, Google announced another update in Google Merchant Center which will effect on again Google Shopping campaigns. As per Google team this will come up with more beneficial for both Advertisers & Customers.

When Require: While a shopper performing search for particular products than lots of product results appear with price, rating, image and other information. But shoppers offering price always varies due to shipping charges or external charges. This completely frustrates user experience and result of which immediately comes as bounce from website.

Who Should Use: Shoppers using Shopping Campaign to display Ads to user but prices varies location to location of delivering products.

So now Prices will show accurately to user on basis of shipping configuration tool. In this tool configuration of shipment charges will be more powerful and easier to use. Below are the specifications on which we can configure accurate shipping rates for products:

  • Shipment Rule: An expanded list of shipping methods is provided which also include customize method based on hierarchical set of rules.
  • Multiple Shipment Methods: This shows lowest possible price to user when you have more than 1 delivery methods for same location with different delivery prices.
  • Customization Based on Location: Manually enter deliver price for each location (Countries, Cities or Zip codes).
  • Simplified Exclusion Option: Indicate when products do not ship to certain regions (Countries, Cities or Zip codes).
  • Reusable Shared Library: Create a repository of shipping methods you can reuse across various custom configurations.
