Google Officially Added “Low Quality Guest Blog Posts” is Spam in Their List of Guidelines Violation
Google officially update their webmaster guidelines in their List of Guidelines Violation calls “little or no original content” . This is another update after Google’s new algorithm updates, calls “HTTPS as a Ranking Signal”
Most of the SEOs using Guest blogging as a link building strategy and attempt to manipulate the Google algorithm. To deal with such spam activities, Google is always updating his quality guidelines and penalized such spam website on time to time.
Here is Screenshot of the guidelines page.
Google’s head of search spam, Matt Cutts already posted on his personal blog that guest blogging is OK, But “Guest Blogging For SEO” which aim to get anchor text links for higher ranking is not a good Activity.
It is clear, Google only reward those Websites that have “earned” links, rather than websites that have gained links without any real effort. Guest posting should be submitting a new and original article to high quality blogs. Articles should provide readers with relevant and useful information, tips and advice while getting the exposure and a valuable link.
